Amber Benson is an American actress singer writer director and producer. Her most recognizable character is Tara Maclay, in the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Benson is the daughter of a psychiatrist as well as an artist named Diane Benson was born in Birmingham Alabama on January 8 in 1977.
